Procedure for conducting centralized trading for energy-producing organizations:

Centralized auctions of electric energy for energy-producing organizations are held daily. Joint auctions are held for the Northern and Southern zones of the UES of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in which only the existing EPOs of the Northern and Southern zones of the UES of the Republic of Kazakhstan participate, as well as separate auctions for the Western zone of the UES of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in which only EPOs of the Western zone of the UES of the Republic of Kazakhstan participate. From 11:20 to 11:50 a.m. Astana time is the main time of the trading session for the Northern and Southern zones and the Western zone of the UES of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The duration of the trading session is 30 minutes. Price determination is by the single-sided auction method.
Trading day
Until 09:15 a.m.

The system operator automatically provides the operator of the centralized trading market with a list of energy-producing organizations, signed using EDS, indicating the hourly volumes of capacity put up for sale, which are displayed in the electronic trading system as applications for participation in the trading session at the corresponding marginal tariffs of the energy-producing organizations.

Until 11:10 a.m.

The system operator automatically provides the operator of the centralized trading market, no later than 11:10 a.m. (Astana time) of the day preceding the operating day, with the following information signed using EDS:

1) the hourly volume of electric energy consumption by zones of the UES of the Republic of Kazakhstan planned to be covered at the centralized electric energy auctions;

2) the hourly values (for each energy hub of the UES of the Republic of Kazakhstan) of the minimum and maximum permissible volumes of electric energy sales.

At the same time, bidders have the opportunity to fill in the technical parameters of the application for participation in the trading session from the moment they receive information from the system operator.
