Compliance officer
The position of Compliance Officer at JSC "KOREM" was established to ensure compliance with anti-corruption requirements and best international practice, to assess and manage corruption risks, to implement anti-corruption measures, to update internal regulatory documents, and to interact with relevant government authorities.
In its work, the Compliance Officer is guided by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Combating Corruption", Order No. 384 of the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 9 December 2021 "On Anti-Corruption Compliance", the Anti-Corruption Strategy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Charter of the Company, the Code of Business Ethics of the Company, the Regulation of the Company on the Compliance Officer, and internal regulatory documents governing the compliance policy matters of the Company.
The Compliance Officer reports to the Board of Directors of the Company and is vested with the powers and resources necessary to perform his duties.
By decision of the Board of Directors of the Company dated 24 September 2024, Minutes No. 04-01/6, Baimuratuly Bulat was appointed Compliance Officer of the Company.

- violations in the conduct of control, supervisory or procurement procedures;
- abuse of office or exceeding authority by officials;
- actions that may cause material damage or harm the business reputation of JSC "KOREM",

Please note that anonymous reports are not subject to official review, but are checked. An anonymous report of a crime is not in itself grounds for initiating a pre-trial investigation.
Disseminating knowingly false information entails liability in accordance with Article 274 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
