Guide for investors on renewable energy sources projects in Kazakhstan as amended in 2019
In order to be prepared to auction for selection of RES projects in 2019 with funding from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), under the «Future Energy» Regional Program a Guide for investors on renewable energy sources projects in Kazakhstan (version 2019) has been prepared. This guide covers all issues related to implementation of RES construction project in the Republic of Kazakhstan ranging from participation in auction to connection of RES facilities to electric grid.
The guide has been developed in the light of amendments and additions introduced in 2019 to the Rules governing the operation of the RES sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
We recommend this Guide for potential investors and all those interested in the development of RES sector in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
