Amendments in the Rules on RES have been introduced
On July 8, 2019, the Order No. 228 of the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of June 27, 2019 "On introduction of amendments and additions in the order No. 466 of the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of December 21, 2017 "On approval of the Rules of organizing and holding auction, including qualification requirements for auction participants, the content and procedure for submitting applications, types of financial guarantee for participation in auction and conditions of their deposit and return, the procedure for summing up the results and determining the winner" (hereinafter – the Rules) have become effective.
In this regard, the Rules on the Organizer's website have been updated, new wording of the Rules You can download at https://vie.korem.kz/details/ndownload.php?fn=113&lang=rus.
Amendments in the Rules reflect:
- procedure of auction without documentation and/or with documentation, including the main parameters of the project;
- conditions of holding BioPP auctions;
- time specifications of holding auctions;
- amendments in the amount of financial guarantee for auction with documentation;
- amendments in the mechanism of applications submission during auctions.
The auctions in 2019 will be held taking in view of amendments introduced in the above Rules. When preparing and participating in the auctions, please follow the current version of the Rules.
