The 2nd meeting of the Energy Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States was held in Almaty.
On September 27-28 of this year, the 2nd meeting of the Energy Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) was held.
The organizer of this event was the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, OTS.
At the panel session «Kazakhstan RES auctions - best practices», the director of the Department of Markets of JSC «KOREM» Shagyrbaeva A. made a presentation on the topic of the report «RES in the Republic of Kazakhstan», spoke in detail about the rules and procedures for conducting auctions in Kazakhstan, shared her experience in the development of the RES sector in the country, as well as the results of the auction from 2018 to 2021 .
The main purpose of the event is the experience of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the implementation of the auction system.
During the meeting, they discussed cooperation in the fields of renewable and «smart» energy, energy efficiency, energy transition, the development of sustainable energy, the creation of a favorable investment environment for the development of new projects.
