JSC «Kazakhstan Electric Energy and Capacity Market Operator» informs about the approval by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the auction schedule for 2023 and the auction plan for 2024-2027.

In this connection, we invite all interested persons planning the implementation of renewable energy projects in Kazakhstan to participate in the auction for RES, which will be held from August 31 to November 30, 2023.

The total installed capacity, planned for the upcoming auction in 2023, is 860 MW of them:

- solar power plants (SPP) - 100 MW;

- wind power plants (WPP) - 500 MW;

- hydroelectric power plants (HPP) - 250 MW;

- biofuel power plants (BioPP) - 10 MW.

 It should be noted that the total volume of the approved five-year schedule of auctions for renewable energy is about 6.7 GW.

And also, starting from this year, the starting maximum auction price of renewable energy projects has been increased.
