 According to the adopted Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 6, 2023 No. 193-VII ZRK «On Digital Assets» (hereinafter referred to as the Law), digital miners will be able to purchase electric energy from the UES of the Republic of Kazakhstan only if there is a surplus and exclusively through auctions of JSC  «KOREM».

The law provides for the removal of price restrictions and bidding exclusively on market mechanisms.

JSC «KOREM», in accordance with the Law, has developed and tested software for centralized trading of electric energy for medium and long-term periods for persons engaged in digital mining activities (hereinafter referred to as trading).

We hereby inform you about the pilot auctions planned by JSC «KOREM» in the simulation mode.

 We invite all interested companies engaged in digital mining, as well as energy-producing organizations to participate in the upcoming auctions in a simulation mode to assess the readiness of the trading system. 

After the recruitment of participants, the date and time of the pilot auction will be announced additionally!
