This week, a «Job Fair» was held at the «Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University named after S.Seifullin» (hereinafter referred to as the University), organized by the Energy Faculty of the University.

The purpose of the fair is to assist future graduates in finding employment.

The event was attended by students, graduates and more than 25 employers in the field of energy and heat power engineering of Astana and Akmola region.

The Dean of the Faculty of Energy, S.S. Isenov, made a welcoming speech, thanking the participants for their interest and introducing all the representatives and organizers of the event.

As part of the work of the industry center for technological competencies in the field of electric power, the main purpose of which is the development of the industry and digital transformation, was attended by the Managing Director for Strategy and support of the activities of JSC «KOREM» Doronin A.V. and the chief manager – head of the personnel Service of the Administrative Department Umirzakova A.A.

At the event, A.V. Doronin shared his extensive experience in the electric power industry, about the tasks and functions of the company, spoke about the digital integrated platform solutions being created for electric power development projects and increasing human resources in the industry.

The main objectives of the development of the personnel potential of employees of the electric power industry is the development of a system of professional qualifications. It is necessary to develop and adopt effective systems for monitoring and analyzing the staffing needs of energy enterprises in the medium and long term. Prepare programs in the field of personnel management based on the best models that contribute to the development of personnel, motivate and retain the best employees. Review the levels of remuneration for all sectors of the electric power industry, with an emphasis on the electricity transmission sector. Also, to complete the implementation of professional standards, to expand the cooperation of energy enterprises with foreign universities and partners.

It was also noted that the industrial center of technological competence at the first stage of its work is conducting a survey of electric power industry entities on the need for personnel in the required professions, preparing the characteristics of the platform for the needs and reserve of personnel of energy entities with a technical task for developers on the functionality of the Digital Platform of Energy Personnel.

During the meeting, representatives of JSC «KOREM» answered all the questions of graduates of the Faculty of Energy.
