Meeting of the Commission to make decisions related to the organization and conduct of auctions for construction of newly commissioned generating plants with a maneuverable generation mode
On June 24, 2022 was held a meeting of the Commission to make decisions related to the organization and conduct of auctions for construction of newly commissioned generating plants with a maneuverable generation mode.
The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the site of KOREM JSC held a meeting of the Commission for the admission of auction participants for construction of newly commissioned generating plants with a maneuverable generation mode. The meeting of the Commission was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Financial Settlement Center of Renewable Energy LLP, Department of Power Engineering and Housing-Municipal Services of the Akimats of the Kyzylorda and Turkestan Regions, QazaqGaz NC JSC, Department of Basic Industries and Ecology of the NCE RK, KEGOC JSC, Kazakhstan Association of Oil-Gas and Energy
Sector Organizations “Kazenergy”, Kazakhstan Electricity Association, Association of Renewable Energy of Kazakhstan and KOREM JSC.
Applications of potential auction participants for construction of newly commissioned generating plants with a maneuverable generation mode were brought to the attention of the Commission. Recall that by order of the Minister of Energy was approved Plan for the placement of generating plants with a maneuverable generation mode. According to the Plan, promising locations were selected in the Turkestan and Kyzylorda regions, for which by order of Financial Settlement Center of Renewable Energy LLP were prepared pre-feasibility studies.
During the meeting, the Commission verified the documents submitted by the applicants to the authorized body for participation in the auction for construction of newly commissioned generating plants with a maneuverable generation mode.
Based on the results of the meeting, the Commission decided to admit two applicants to the site in the Kyzylorda region, and three applicants to the site in the Turkestan region for registration in the electronic system of the auction organizer.
The scheduled dates of the auctions for construction of newly commissioned generating plants with a maneuverable generation mode at the Kyzylorda site are July 13, 2022, in the Turkestan region - July 15, 2022.
