Meeting of the Ministry of Energy of RK with representatives of the Agence Française de Développement at the site of JSC "KOREM"
The meeting of the Ministry of Energy of RK and representatives of the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) on cooperation in the energy sector was held at the site of JSC "KOREM" on August 31, 2021.
Chairman of the Board Ilyas Bakytzhan Nassenuly presented the new areas of activity of JSC "KOREM". He also informed the guests about the initiatives within the framework of the Industrial Center for Technological Competence in the field of electric power, which will be aimed at implementing the state policy of sustainable development of the energy sector and human capital.
During the meeting, the representative of the Agence Française de Développement Adam Ayash expressed interest in the initiatives of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the development of the wholesale electricity market, the creation of an industry educational platform, the digital transformation of the energy sector and the creation of a digital map of hydro potential, which in the future can turn into a basis for cooperation. The parties agreed on further interaction.
