On May 2-3, 2024, a seminar on the organization and conduct of renewable energy auctions will be held on the basis of KOREM JSC
On May 2-3, 2024, an online seminar on the organization and conduct of auctions for the selection of projects for the construction of hydroelectric power plants and wind farms in the Republic of Kazakhstan will be held on the basis of KOREM JSC.
The seminar was organized by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the participation of JSC "NC "Kazakh Invest", the organizer of the auction of JSC "KOREM" and the single buyer of electric energy RES LLP "RFTS for RES".
According to the auction schedule for 2024, approved by Order of the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 105 dated March 07, 2024, auctions for the selection of renewable energy projects for the construction of hydroelectric power plants and wind farms in the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2024 will be held from June 10 to 17.
The purpose of the seminar is to explain the system of organizing and conducting auctions for the selection of renewable energy projects in the Republic of Kazakhstan, taking into account changes in existing regulatory legal acts.
The target audience is potential participants in renewable energy auctions.
The program of the seminar:
- About the development of the renewable energy sector in the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- Organization and holding of auctions for the selection of renewable energy projects in the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- Features of obtaining financial security and concluding an agreement with the winner of the auction;
- Renewable energy among priority sectors: opportunities for obtaining investment preferences;
- Q&A session.
